This fall, OpenAI is taking DevDay on the road to bring the experience closer to developers worldwide. With events scheduled in San Francisco on October 1, London on October 30, and Singapore on November 21, OpenAI is responding to last year’s feedback by expanding their reach and offering more opportunities for developers to connect and learn from one another. These developer events aim to dive deep into new AI features and products, providing a platform for innovation and collaboration.

At OpenAI DevDay, attendees can expect hands-on workshops designed to enhance their skills with the OpenAI platform and API tools. Breakout sessions will cover a wide range of topics, such as model customization, steerability, scaling, and best practices, all led by AI experts and community members. Participants will also have the chance to witness live demos from the OpenAI product and engineering teams, showcasing the latest models and platform capabilities. Developer spotlights will feature groundbreaking projects from the community, and the day will conclude with an evening reception offering dinner, drinks, and entertainment.

As the community eagerly awaits OpenAI’s next big model, these events will focus on the latest advancements in the API and developer tools, highlighting the incredible projects built by developers. OpenAI invites interested developers to apply for the limited-capacity in-person events by August 15. Selected applicants will be required to pay a registration fee of $450, with scholarships available for some. OpenAI looks forward to welcoming developers and exploring the future of AI together.
